Community Engagement Director

The Community Engagement Director is responsible for facilitating and coordinating a robust community engagement strategy for the Austin Community Recreation Center (ACRC) and YMCA. The role will focus on building relationships and program offerings with volunteers, local community partners, YMCA members, and the community at large. This position will develop and direct overall coordination of programs and services to ensure adherence to the organizations mission and values of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Group Fitness Instructor

The YMCA of Austin is currently seeking fun, energetic persons with an outgoing personality to join our team of Group Fitness Instructors. No previous experience is required, but is always helpful. Training is available for individuals who show interest in continued employment. Activity and Content Leaders – Healthy Weight and Your Child

Leaders facilitate the movement and learning activities for all individuals, adult and child, participating in the Healthy Weight and Your Child program which uses an evidence-based youth physical activity curriculum and classroom lessons to build healthy habits among families.
