Shallow Water Fitness |
|
| This is a medium intensity level water exercise class conditions
the heart and lungs, and strengthens muscles. The
class is held in shallow water. M, W, F 8:35 - 9:25 am (effective June 8 for summer schedule) T, Th 6:00 - 6:50 pm |

Deep Water Fitness |
|
| A medium level intensity class
that strengthens and tones muscles while improving cardiovascular endurance. Belts are worn for buoyancy and comfort. Strong swimming skills are not necessary. T, Th 8:35 - 9:25 am |

Lifeguard Training |
|
| Pre requisites: You must be 15 years old by last day of class. You must pass Red Cross pretest, swim 300 yds. non-stop (100 yards of front crawl face in the water with rotary breathing, 100 yard breast stroke, balance can be combination front crawl and breast stroke), 20 yards swim dive for brick in 9 ft. and swim on back with brick 20 yards. Any questions contact the Aquatic Director at 433-1804. You must attend ALL session, and upon completion you will be certified in CPR/FPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding. Cost: $150 for members, $200 for non-members. Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Training |

| If you will be 16 years of age by last day of class and want to become a certified Water Safety Instructor (a requirement to teach at most outdoor area pools), the YMCA is offering the Red Cross WSI at these times: Class Dates: May 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25 Time: 5 to 9 pm Ages: 16 years or older Cost: $160 for members, $210 for non-members |

CPR/FDR |

| Join us April 17 (8 am - 3 pm) or June 7 (9 am - 5 pm) to re-certify your CPR. Cost: $60 for members, $75 for non-members Full Lifeguard Challenge April 17 or June 7. Cost: $75 for members, $100 for non-members. |

Summer Swim Camp |

| All competitive swimmers come and improve your strokes a the 11th annual YMCA Competitive Stroke Camp. Skills to be covered include: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, breast stroke, turns, starts, and some land exercised. Area swim coaches will be daily presenters. Prerequisite: must be able to swim 25 yards. Dates: June 14 - 17, M - Th Time: 1 - 3:30 pm Cost: $55 Ages: 6 years and older |

Splash 'N Dash |

| Try out what it feels like to be on a swim team. YMCA staff combines with High School swimmers to coach students (grades 1 - 6) in competitive swimming skills working at the swimmer's level. Swim Team |

| Ages 5 and older are invited to become members of the Aqua Pack Swim Team. Emphasis is placed on participation, individual improvement, and FUN! We will be offering afternoon and evening practices to accommodate times for families with busy schedules. You
must be able to swim one length (25 yards) of the pool without stopping. Look for more information in the Fall/Winter 2010-11 Brochure. |
